Perimeter Pest Control Program

Insects such as ants, spiders, and silverfish invade your home to find food, water, and shelter. When inside, they can cause structural damage, health concerns, or just be a general nuisance. It is safer and much easier to take steps to prevent insects from getting inside, thus avoiding the need for pesticides inside your house.

Our Perimeter Pest Control Program creates a barrier around your home to prevent insects from gaining access.

During each visit, we treat the perimeter of the house, along foundation walls (focusing extra attention to cracks and crevices) and around mulch beds and patios. For best results, we recommend 5 timed applications per year.

Organic Perimeter Pest Control (DE)

We can protect your home from insects without any chemicals at all. From April through October we make 5 monthly applications where we apply a liberal dusting of Diatamaceous Earth (DE) around the foundation to safely prevent insects from reaching your home.

DE is the fossilized remains of microscopic shells created by one celled plants called DIATOMS. DE kills by physical action; not chemical, by puncturing the insect's exoskeleton and absorbing its body fluids, thus posing no harm to warm-blooded life. Moreover, on any surface, these natural products have a remarkable repellency factor. As long as it is present, insects tend to stay away, making a serious infestation unlikely.

This product is food-grade safe, so it can also be applied around vegetable gardens to protect your harvest from pests.
